Miriam Finkelstein is Professor of Slavic Literatures and Literary Theory at the University of Konstanz, Germany. She received her doctorate in Russian Literature from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Germany), her first book on Russian female utopian imagination was published in 2011. Currently, she is finishing a second monograph on the narratives of Jewish memory in recent Russian-American and Russian-German immigrant fiction. Her fields of interest include exile and migration in East European literatures of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, literary multi- and translingualism, global Russophone literatures as well as Jewish literatures and cultures in Eastern Europe.
