Danuta Sosnowska, PhD, Associate Professor, is employed by the Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies at Warsaw University. Her research interests encompass the literatures, cultures, and traditions of Poland, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic (the monograph Inna Galicia, 2008). Furthermore, she investigated the influence of the Habsburg legacy on the cultures of countries in Central Europe (Traces of the Habsburg Heritage: Bohemia’s Multicultural Tradition as a Source of the Multilingual Phenomenon in the Czech Literature in Exile, 2020). In recent years, her research has concentrated on the religious dimensions of Central European cultures. She has co-edited several works in this field, including The Experience of Faith in Slavic Cultures and Literatures in the Context of Post-Secular Thought, 2018).
